He received pain management fellowship training at Weill Cornell Medical College/ New York Presbyterian Hospital, New York. He received Anesthesiology training at Cleveland Clinic, Cleveland, OH & University of Arkansas Medical Sciences, AR. He is double board certified. Dr. Goswami been awarded the Diplomate of the American Board of Anesthesiology & the Subspecialty Certification in Pain Medicine by the American Board of Anesthesiology

Dr. Goswami has extensive experience in treating patients with complex chronic pain disorders. He was the founding director of the Multidisciplinary Interventional Pain Clinic at New Mexico Veteran Hospital in Albuquerque. At Albuquerque, Dr. Goswami acquired extensive experience in treating Veterans with complicated pain disorders. He founded Epic Pain Management in 2010. His first office was in Wayne, New Jersey. Since 2010, he has opened additional offices in New York City, in Paramus (NJ) & in Millburn (NJ). 

Due to outstanding care rendered by Dr. Goswami, he has received numerous awards from the leading independent healthcare rating companies. He was awarded the Patients' Choice Award and the Compassionate Doctor Award in both 2011 & 2012. He has also been featured on the HealthGrades Honor Roll since 2011. In 2014, he was voted as a Top Doctor in New Jersey.

Media Coverage

In 2012, there was a nationwide scare related to a sudden increase in the incidence of fungal meningitis in patients who had received epidural steroid injection. Tony Yates from ABC news interviewed Dr. Goswami to get his expert opinion on the safety of epidural steroid injections.
